Accessibility
The power of the web is in its universality. Access by everyone regardless of disability is an essential aspect.
Web accessibility is the inclusive practice of ensuring people are not inhibited or excluded from using a website on the basis of experiencing a disability. We aim to make this website accessible to all people.
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA. This website aims to be fully compliant with WCAG 2.1 level AA. Some minor elements of our website do not fully meet luminance contrast requirements as our brand style colour palette was adopted and applied to all publications and communications prior to website development.
We welcome and encourage feedback — if you face any accessibility barriers when using this website, please don’t hesitate to let us know by email at hello@outsidethebox.org.au.
